# What happens after my website is rebuilt—do you maintain it?

Yes. Maintenance is built into both Grinza plans: hosting, security, and backups are included from day one, and every month we publish new content and keep your Google Business listing current. You don't log in, update anything, or manage a dashboard — you send a note if something changes, and we handle it.

## What's included after the site goes live

Once your rebuilt site is live, it moves into an ongoing plan rather than a one-time project. On the Base plan ($250/month), that means the site stays hosted, with security and backups handled, plus two to four new pieces of content each month and small changes whenever you need them — updated hours, new photos, a price change, a staff addition. Your Google Business listing is also kept current as part of Base.

The Growth plan ($600/month) covers everything in Base and adds more: eight to twelve pieces of content a month, posting out to social and video platforms, and structured data and FAQ work aimed at getting AI engines to cite your business directly. Structured data is the markup that tells search and AI systems what your business actually does and where — you can read more about how it works from [Google's own documentation](https://developers.google.com/search/docs/appearance/structured-data/intro-structured-data).

## What you have to do

Nothing on a regular basis. There's no dashboard to learn and no content to write or approve unless you want to. If something in your business changes — new hours, a different phone number, a service you've stopped offering — you send a note and it gets updated. That's the only ongoing involvement expected of you.

## Your domain, email, and old site

When the site goes live, it's on the same web address, and your email keeps working. Grinza manages the domain's DNS while you're a client, but the domain itself stays registered in your name. Your old site isn't deleted — it's archived before anything changes, in case you ever want to look back at it.

## If you decide to leave

Plans run for twelve months, billed monthly, and continue month to month after that with thirty days' notice to cancel. If you leave before the twelve months are up, the waived $1,500 rebuild fee becomes due along with the remaining months on the term. Whenever you go, your files are handed over — your business name, logo, photos, and the content published on your behalf are yours, and the domain gets pointed wherever you tell Grinza to send it.

## FAQs

### Do I need to update the site myself?

No. Small changes like updated hours, photos, or prices are included — you send a note and Grinza makes the change. There's no dashboard or login required.

### What's the difference between the Base and Growth plans for ongoing maintenance?

Base includes hosting, security, backups, two to four pieces of content a month, and keeping your Google Business listing current. Growth adds more content volume, social and video posting, and structured data and FAQ work so AI engines can cite the business directly.

### What happens to my old website after the rebuild?

It isn't deleted. Grinza archives the old site before making any changes, so it's still available if you ever want to look back at it.

### Can I cancel the maintenance plan later?

Plans run twelve months, billed monthly, then continue month to month with thirty days' notice to cancel. Cancelling before the twelve months are up means the waived $1,500 rebuild fee and remaining months become due.

### Who owns the content published on the site each month?

You own your business name, logo, photos, and any content Grinza writes for you once it's published, according to Grinza's terms of service.
